The ADIDAS ORIGINALS XBYO FW17 COLLECTION refines sportswear icons

The ADIDAS ORIGINALS XBYO FW17 COLLECTION is the next instalment of the Three Stripes’ sleek contemporary streetwear project.

Maintaining its roots in the adidas archives with its distinctive, vintage-inspired cross graphic branding, the collection is brought bang up to date with a minimalist aesthetic and a tight colour palette. The classic adidas sportswear DNA is visible throughout the range, but the cuts are modified and modernised: hems are extended for layering, ergonomic panels are added to boxy tees, and track pants have a 7/8 cropped fit to show off your trainers. Everything comes in vapor grey, collegiate burgundy and mineral blue, making for a cohesive range that can be easily mixed and matched. For men, there are track jackets, long-sleeve tops, hoodies, crewneck sweats, t-shirts and pants; for women, the track tops are reworked with an extended cut and the tees come with a wider silhouette. Each item is embellished with subtle references to the signature adidas trefoil and stripes, mixed in with the more visible XbyO branding to produce a boldly-styled range of garments that can still slot into your everyday wardrobe with ease.
