The resurrection of ’90s sportswear continues with the ADIDAS ORIGINALS LINEAR COLLECTION.
It was only a matter of time before fashion’s renewed interest in tracksuits reached critical mass, opening a rift in space-time and bringing the ’90s smack bang into the present day. It began with the humble sweat pant, but now – to our delight – we’re seeing the return of full tracksuit combos from the 1990s a.k.a. the era when all the best stuff happened (go listen to ‘Enter the Wu-Tang’ and tell us we’re wrong). The new Linear Collection from adidas Originals taps into terrace style, rave and streetwear with a set of mix ‘n’ match track tops and pants for both men and women. The pullover tops come with a half-zip opening and a striking two-tone diagonal stripe across the torso, echoed by bold colour blocking across the back. Two options are available for your lower half: a khaki take on the original Superstar track pant, and a more tapered style in green for those wanting something more fitted.
