The ADIDAS ORIGINALS BY PORTER COLLECTION is a must-have for every city-goer this summer.

For this new capsule collection, ADIDAS ORIGINALS have teamed up with Yoshida-owned brand PORTER on a range of footwear and bags. With a minimal colour palette of black, white and adidas Originals blue, the collab is a great reflection of what both brands stand for: great, no-nonsense product, built to last.

The collection consists of just 3 items, in the form of the HELMET BAG and the WAIST BAG (two of Porter’s most successful products) as well as a glorious iteration of one of adidas Originals’ most popular concepts in recent times, the NMD_C1. The bags are constructed in Porter’s signature TANKER fabric which was inspired by the MA-1 flight jackets worn by the U.S. Air Force, the material is also featured on the medial quarter panel of the sneaker. All of the products bear hints of adidas Originals blue along with the same understated markings found of all of the Porter products; a lack of oversized branding is something the Japanese bag masters pride themselves on, making Porter a very much ‘if you know, you know’ type brand. They have reflected this same ethos onto the collaborative sneaker; at a glance, it could look like any old GR shoe, whilst commanding respect from those who notice that subtle branding on the tongue.
