adidas Equipment Apparel Collection AW16 – Available Now

The ADIDAS EQUIPMENT APPAREL COLLECTION AW16 is a welcome blast from the Three Stripes’ past.

We’re big fans of the adidas EQT footwear here at The Drop Date, whether it’s the OG ’90s classics, the new hybrid Boost versions or the futuristic EQT Support ADV. And this new collection of updated ’90s archive apparel is the perfect complement to the shoes. A wintry black and grey palette appears across a selection of hoodies, sweatshirts, tees, pants and tracksuits, livened up by the EQT line’s signature ‘Sub Green’ colour pops. There’s some nice cold-weather texture at play here too, coming in the form of synthetic overlay panels and the warm Mafia-esque embrace of a full velour tracksuit. The ’90s sportswear nostalgia wave is picking up momentum, and this well-timed release is a strong and authentic move from adidas.
