The ADIDAS DAY ONE AW17 OUTDOOR COLLECTION puts the ‘great’ in ‘great outdoors’, and it’s coming soon.

Inspired by wilderness exploration, the new range is focussed on performance – but it’s no slouch in the aesthetics department either. Which is a breath of fresh air (no pun intended), since outdoors gear generally gets a bad rep for its associations with technicolour family-friendly hiking garms.

The Day One AW17 Collection is based around a minimal, neutral colour palette that brings to mind boulders and overcast skies, with rock surface patterns and raised textures elevating a selection of outerwear, mid-layers and shoes. Climaproof footwear comes equipped with a GORE-TEX coating, while the outerwear selection boasts Polartec insulation and waterproof construction. There are merino-blend base layer tees, wind pants with a water-repellent coating, and a teched-out utility pack to round things off.
