Check out the ADIDAS 2018 WORLD CUP TEAM JERSEYS unveiled today ahead of next summer’s tournament in Russia.
Inspired by iconic kits of the past, adidas’ unrivalled sporting heritage and commitment to innovation sees seven team jerseys revealed, each with its own unique story. Germany’s kit revisits the famous 1990 kit, while host nation Russia’s jersey harks back to the Soviet era. The Argentinian kit celebrates the AFA’s 125th anniversary, with both the Spain and Columbia kits paying homage to renowned kits from the 90’s. Perhaps most interestingly the Japan jersey references hand-crafted Japanese apparel designs, in particular the Sashiko stitching technique which utilises white rough threads on an indigo dyed base.
