The new ACRONYM SS17 COLLECTION has your back in case the world descends into all-out warfare this season.
Acronym products have always come equipped with enough functionality to keep you safe through World War 3. And with absolute lunatics now at the head of most major world powers, it seems that SS17 might be the season that all those futuristic functional fabrics and pockets-within-pockets will really come in useful. As always, each garment has more features than other brands’ entire collections and we can’t do justice to it all here; but to sum it all up, it’s basically ultra-functional post-apocalyptic business as usual with another phenomenal offering of tech-heavy outerwear, pants and mid-layer garments. Drop 1 includes Gore-Tex Pro jackets, packable Windstopper parkas, Tec Sys Interops jackets, 2-layer Windstopper coats and the brand’s signature future-ninja pants in jersey, gabardine and Schoeller Dryskin make-ups. Acronym designer Errolson Hugh’s eye for asymmetrical detailing is strongly in effect, and the much-loved Tec Sys feature allows some of the garments to be customised with the addition of modular accessory pouches which attach via the military-styled webbing straps.
