Following up on recent collaborations with Goodhood and END. the time lords have teamed up with the purveyors of good design to create the IT’S NICE THAT X TIMEX MK1 watch.

With over 160 years of watchmaking experience, Timex is a brand synonymous with timeless quality and durability, yet the American watchmakers are not ones to shy away from contemporary interpretations of their classic designs. Working with the MK1 watch, originally a military time piece from 1982, It’s Nice That wanted to bring an element of positivity to proceedings. “We wanted to bring our tone, to put a smile on people’s faces when they looked at it,” explains art director Ali Hanson, who has designed the Resin MK1 watch– a piece that sums up the core values of It’s Nice That and the longevity of Timex’s quality products. The result is a beautiful timepiece housed in a durable 36mm resin case, boasting Japanese Quartz movement and 30-meter water resistance, and comes complete with a comfortable black nylon strap and a tongue in cheek inscription on the watches face that reads ‘Nice Time Guaranteed’.
